Description
The "Vampire Crypt" is located at the Erie Cemetery. Local legend has it that a vampire is interred there. The mausoleum has no name or date on it to identify its occupant(s) and the carving above the door resembles a pair of wings. A little research will better explain the history behind this vault.

This is my favorite mausoleum. I know how morbid that sounds, but the myths and legends behind it! I knew nothing about them when seeing it in person, though it did give me the creeps, now..I just love it. GREAT pic
